1 medium head iceberg lettuce, torn into pieces
1 small onion, thinly sliced
3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
In a medium bowl, cut the lettuce leaves into 1/2-inch slices. Spread the lettuce pieces over a medium bowl, and season with water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Place lettuce on a medium sheet of plastic wrap, and secure with a wooden toothpick. Roll up the top and sides of lettuce; cut into squares.
Cover lettuce tightly with plastic wrap; place at least 12 inches from heat source. Cover plastic wrap tightly with foil. Place lettuce in refrigerator overnight.
I will definately be using this again! Love the right amount of cinnamon,ohio,semolina,just a little goes a long way. Will definitely be trying to thicken it a bit next time.
