Spaghetti Sauce III Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, peeled

2 teaspoons dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in onion, garlic, basil, oregano, basil, pepper and salt and pepper. Saute until tender, about 5 minutes.

To make sauce: Heat oil in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in salt and pepper and heat until hot. Add basil, oregano, basil, pepper and salt. Stir and cook until heated through.

These were pretty good, but the shrimp cocktail was pretty weak. I tossed the clams with sriracha a little and it was nice. But the clams were the deal breaker. I used tilapia flakes instead of sesame seeds, and I think that was my mistake. The texture was great, but I think I would prefer just plain old Szechuan sausage with my food. The cornflour "dust" was nice, but it wasn't really flavoured. I think I would prefer lemon pepper, but I've got a big bonito bowl so it wasn't really needed.
