Anise Oatouffée (Oatee) Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8.5 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed and drained

1 (16 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed and drained

3 eggs, beaten

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup shortening

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, beat vanilla until smooth. Add shortening. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Pour mixture into prepared baking pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until top is set.

These were pretty good but I would use Oregano not spicy but mild. I would see aby recommendations and change everything but STRAWBERRIES would be great...think brownie mix but with fewer sugars. Pretty bland so probably wouldn´t taste as good as I thought but yeah I could see adding granules of it but nothing crazy different.

This was pretty good, but the shrimp and spinach definitely need some seasoning. I added salt, pepper, and a little cumin to really finish things off. My tortillas were a little old and dry, so I just grabbed two halves of white and 4 unpeeled garlic cloves and tossed them with the salsa. My tortillas were a little dry, so I just dipped them in cold water and finished things off with the half teaspoon. Overall, pretty good and true to what you can get at the Mexican restaurant.
