Kielbasa Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound button or plastic baguette, cut into small pieces

4 cups kielbasa sausage or pork sausage

3 cups water

2 tablespoons ground black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

10 green onions, finely sliced

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Heat water in an electric kettle, and stir in kielbasa sausage, water mixture, pepper and paprika. Bring to a boil, and boil for 5 minutes. Stir in the onions. Drop by rounded spoonfuls into the boiling water, and cover. Let the water evaporate, stirring constantly.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove pan from heat. Cover, and let stand for 15 minutes.

When the pork mixture has cooked, remove the pan from the liquid. Mix together fried onions, browning sauce, kielbasa mixture and prepared kielbasa. Return pan to the oven, and bake for 20 minutes. The pan should be crispy brown, but it may be a while before it is brown.
