1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 dash ground black pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 (8 ounce) can mixed vegetables (plum, onion, carrots and bell pepper)
1 cup borlotti or Italian sausage
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
In a large pot over medium heat, heat the chicken broth, and stir to cover. Reduce heat to medium. Cover, and simmer, covered, for 1 hour. Remove lid from pot, and stir in oil. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
Stir in onion salt, crushed red pepper flakes, crushed red pepper flakes, parsley, oil, mixed vegetables, borlotti, sausage, dried onion soup mix, dried meat, olive oil and wine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour mixture into pot, reduce heat to low, and stir to heat through.
