1 (18 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (2.5 ounce) package vanilla pudding mix
4 egg whites
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons orange zest
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/2 cup orange juice
In a medium bowl, mix crushed pineapple and gelatin together. Pour half of the gelatin mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch square pan. Fold remaining gelatin mixture into pineapple mixture, covering completely. Place pan in refrigerator.
In a large bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. Fold egg whites into pineapple mixture. Beat lemon juice and orange zest into lemon zest and sugar. Beat orange juice into pineapple mixture. Dip pie shell into pineapple juice.
Sprinkle top with remaining gelatin mixture. Place pie in refrigerator.
