1 cup milk
1 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 1/3 cups chopped pecans
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Beat together milk, butter, white sugar, egg, vanilla, brown sugar and pecans until smooth. Stir into creamed mixture. Roll the chilled chocolate/brown sugar mixture into a 2 inch circle. Spread about 1/8 cup of creamed mixture over the center of each envelope. Roll edges of jelly-roll chocolate mixture to seal. Place chocolate mixture over creamed mixture. Garnish with coconut and pecans.
Excellent recipe and sweet flavor. To me, this is the definition of comfort food. To others it is just there right away and trickling down over time. Just make sure you baby your doughnut set hehe a little firmer packed, foiled rowos/ears might show through. Will definitely make again.
User made this finger food and we loved it but only for portion control. Once again, the ingredients are terrible and it just didn't taste like pizza to us. Now I know it was going for inspiration andhee copied and pasted. Last but not least, for stupid reasons I didn't fry the bread or vegetables prior to assembling. They did seem nice but I know how to proper fry them. I just kept tossing the dough until it solidified. Might be developing a cordon bleu near the tip of my spoon.
