1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/8 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups sliced almonds
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
4 tablespoons butter
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, margarine, oil, water, vanilla, salt, almonds, walnuts, and butter. Mix thoroughly and pour into a 2 quart casserole dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
