1 pound bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 eggs, beaten
1 (2 ounce) package mini marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
In a medium bowl, blend together eggs, marshmallows, milk, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, and raisins. Transfer these to a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Spread chocolate mixture over the bottom of the baking pan. Smooth out any excess cake batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool.
Spread cake batter over the hot chocolate layer; spread the marshmallow mixture over the top.
Spoon the remaining cream over the top, and spread the remaining marshmallow mixture over the bottom of the cake.
No bueno. I used dried cranberries and added 1/2 cup pecans. Simple but well done.
