2 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crusts
3/4 cup margarine, melted and cooled
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained and juice reserved
3/4 cup walnuts
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon milk
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine margarine, 1/2 cup sugar, and salt. Mix well, then stir in eggs and pineapple. Stir in the flour mixture and the reserved juice. Pour batter evenly into prepared crusts.
Use a large spoon to make a 1-inch section through the dough. Slide a knife through the section, making sure to wedge the dough into the center of the pie pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
