3 (3 ounce) packages graham cracker crumbs
2 cups semisweet chocolate, chopped
3/4 cup butter
2/3 cup white sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup caramelized sugar
1 cup flaked coconut (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with foil. Stir together graham cracker crumbs and chocolate eating mix.Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until smooth. Stir in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Spread melted graham cracker mixture into prepared pan. Layer with coconut in one layer. Spread caramelized sugar over caramel coating. Pour just enough butter to coat the bottom of the pan to make it shiny; sprinkle over chocolate.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until cool.
Transfer chocolate to serving dish. Using a knife, cut each strip crosswise into 1/2 inch slices approx 3 inches long. Garnish each slice with a crunchy caramelized sugar case.
