Chocolate Hazelnut Fingers Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butterscotch topping

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup shortening

1 egg

2 large milk chocolate candy kisses

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Sift together the ingredients.

In a medium bowl, carefully mix together butterscotch topping and melted butter; set aside. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, salt and shortening. Stir in shortening mixture and egg. Stir batter until just stiff peaks are formed. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool for 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing to wire rack to cool completely.

Melt chocolate kisses using a light or toothpicks. Remove from baking sheet to wire rack. While still hot, drizzle a generous amount over hot fingers.
