1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 2/3 cups rye flour
1/2 cup unsweetened baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar, white sugar, and rye flour. Toss baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon into flour mixture. Stir until just moist. Stir in baking powder, baking soda and salt. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing. Cookies will still be soft when partially cooled.
