Honey Bell Sconces Recipe

Ingredients

2 (28 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk

16 eggs

1/3 pound butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon kosher salt

1/2 cup apples - peeled, cored, and chopped

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

In a provided mason jar, combine condensed milk, eggs and butter. Toss and set aside until mixture is heated through.

In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt vanilla extract. When mixture thickens, stir in kosher salt, apples and brown sugar. Stir and cook until thick. Add cinnamon, reduce heat to medium low, and simmer, stirring often, for 10 to 15 minutes. Return mixture to simmer, then reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes.

Scoop some milk back into the mixture. Place 1 teaspoon of hot milk into each biscuit, sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon evenly over each, then carefully press each biscuit into the bottom of a 9x14 inch baking pan.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from oven and brush with warm butter.
