1/2 cup half-and-half cream
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons herbal tea powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup packed heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a large mixing bowl, combine half-and-half, water, honey, cornstarch, and sugar. Beat until smooth. Stir in egg and vanilla. Combine tea and vanilla, reduce heat to medium; simmer for 20 minutes, or until thick.
Transfer to refrigerator; mix together with remaining cream and tea powder. Serve chilled with whipped cream.
