1 onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup shortening
1 clove garlic, minced
2 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoons ground dry mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup milk
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 (10.5 ounce) package frozen chopped cooked ham, thawed and drained
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine onion, egg and mayonnaise. Stir in shortening, garlic, garlic powder, ground dry mustard, pepper and cream cheese.
In a large bowl, mix the milk, spinach, cooked ham, basil, oregano, parsley, salt and pepper. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered in the preheated oven 25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned on top.
