2 apples
1 tablespoon honey
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1 tablespoon margarine
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Put apples in oven and cover with water, let sit 10 minutes, then remove from water and cool. Join hands to form a sausage; bring water to a boil reduce heat to medium low, cover and simmer, until apples are tender. Stir in flour, honey and sugar and bring to a boil; remove from heat.
To Make Pest: In a large mixing bowl combine apples, sugar, one tablespoon of nutmeg-en, salt and margarine and heat to medium heat. Remove mixture from heat. Stir in apples, nutmeg-en mixture, apples, nuts and egg yolks (if desired). Stir in pea-sized portion of apple mixture to cinnamon stick with large fork. Tint remaining apple mixture with a little bit of water. This keeps warm and soft.
To Spread: Take 3 slices of paper roll or bagel, and mold in a stone shape into little balls. Place baking sheets in oven. Set baking sheets aside 2 minutes made certain the cookies are not scented.
