1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 (8 ounce) package Tater Tot Casserole
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
8 ounces mayonnaise
1/2 pound hot dog meat
1 kilogram white sugar
4 ounces processed cheese food, sliced
3 ounces mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
Heat oil in a large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Saute the celery, carrots, onion, celery seed, onion root and bell pepper in olive oil until tender. Stir in the tomato sauce and Italian sausage. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Arrange the meat mixture in the prepared pan.
Layer the celery, carrots, onion and bell pepper over the meat mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and mustard. Smooth and spread evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
While the casserole is chilling, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until al dente; drain. Serve immediately.
I added celery, I didn't have garlic powder. This is great for vegans and I wanted to make sure it wasn't too bland. It was pretty good but I'd probably make it again.
