Beef Round Pyxatillos Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup milk

1/3 cup tallow milk

6 grilled carrots, finely diced

8 large onion, finely diced

4 slices oysters

1 cup spinach leaves

2 tablespoons canned goat's milk

1 cup ketchup

1 bunch green onions, minced

1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning

1 teaspoon prepared horseradish

1 teaspoon onion powder

ground black pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated puff pastry sheets (optional)

Directions

Melt the milk in a large heavy skillet or soup pot over medium heat.

I am Greek and this is NOT your typical karithopita! This dough is very sticky and will not rise properly if not properly handled. I found that placing the dough right on a platter instead of rolling it up the sides would make the job a lot easier. Also, since I used a large bunch of it, I only used half the amount of sugar. This was sooo easy.. and so good.. I didn't have karithopita bread, so I simply used baguette bread, which was perfect. It was sooo rich and melty, and tasted so good.. I will definately make it again!!
