1 pound ground pork sausage
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped carrot
3 (10 ounce) cans tomato paste
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium skillet, brown the pork sausage evenly. Drain grease, set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together the sausage, onion, celery, bell pepper, green bell pepper, carrot, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Worcestershire sauce, red wine vinegar and salt. Mix together well.
Layer the sausage mixture on top of the cabbage, tomato mixture on top of the cabbage, and cabbage mixture on top of the sausage mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
