Caramel Pie VI Recipe

Ingredients

1 egg

1/2 cup butter

1 2/3 cups white sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 eggs

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

2 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest

4 cups caramel-colored sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract for decoration

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease and flour a 9 inch pie pan.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease 10 inch round pie pans. Mix crushed butter, white sugar and lemon juice into pastry cream. Mix lemon juice and vanilla into pie filling. Gently mix together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, lemon zest and raisins. Transfer mixture from pastry creamer to filling.

Bake in preheated oven for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Well this is bad enough unless you're a Starbucks coffee lover. Ill probably go with a loads of hot cocoa and just plain old splurge.
