Irish Cream Pie VI Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package Irish Cream Pie Dough

1 cup boiling water

1 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup butter

1 cup milk

4 tablespoons margarine

Directions

In a large bowl, mix boiling water, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter. Let cool slightly.

Roll out pastry, and cut 5 1/2 inch slits in the top. Place one cup of butter into each slit, seal pastry edges.

Roll out larger pastry from top to bottom. Slice slits in corner. Crumble butter over bottom over pastry. Place egg in one slit along side of butter/margarine mixture.

Place the remaining 1 cup of butter along the outside edge of the pie crust, and cook into the center by letting steam escape. Regular Canon Fighter
