1 (18.75 ounce) package white cake mix
5 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (9 ounce) can vanilla wafers, sliced
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (12 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup milk
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-in. round cake pans.
In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, oil, salt and nuts. Mix in 1/4 cup pecans.
Spoon mixture into prepared pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Cut and serve.
