1 cup cider vinegar
1 teaspoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 (15 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
In a medium bowl, mix the vinegar, tomato paste, salt, pepper and chili powder.
Place a teaspoon of tomato paste into each can of refried beans, and place in the bottom of an airtight container.
Store refried beans in the refrigerator, allowing them to prevent sticking while stirring, increasing the shelf life of the beans.
Prepare the refried beans by mixing beer with vinegar and chili powder. Pour over refried beans, and allow to heat through.
