5 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1 onion, minced
1 carrot, chopped
2 cups water
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can peeled and diced celery, quartered
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and place in a large bowl. Add garlic, onion, carrot, water and chicken. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in soup, chicken, celery, mushrooms and chicken broth. Reduce heat to medium and add celery and mushrooms.
Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally, simmer for 5 minutes.
