Eggnog Caramel Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups white sugar

3 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1 (18.25 ounce) can marshmallow creme

1 cup milk

2 teaspoons eggnog

Directions

In a small bowl, mix sugar, butter, flour, cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Mix thoroughly, adding enough for the mixture to be moist. Spread over the bottom and sides of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of pan comes out clean. Cool completely.

Remove foil from pan. Place over open flame, and cook about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned. Remove foil and remaining cream cheese mixture. Cool completely.

Transfer cream cheese mixture to remaining baking dish. Spread cream cheese mixture over cream cheese layer. Drizzle marshmallow creme over cream cheese layer. Garnish with 1 cup of milk. Refrigerate about 1 hour before serving.
