Exquisite Chocolate Harvest Moon Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup margarine

1/3 cup white sugar

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter

4 eggs, softened

3/4 cup vanilla extract

1 cup flaked coconut

8 graham crackers

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Mix together the margarine and sugar. set aside.

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, salt and pan candies. Stir in the egg, butter, middle part of the flour, and the water. Divide the dough into two even portions. Measure out 6 cups of the dough at a time using a 1 1/2 cup or so scoop.

Pinch each portion into pieces that are about 3/4 inch thick. Cut each piece into thirds. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheet, and press, together.

Bake for 13 to15 minutes in the preheated oven; allow to cool completely.

Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks. Serve hot. Watch Now
