1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (3 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (7 ounce) can evaporated milk
1/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup rum
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
Preheat oven on broiler setting.
Melt butter in large heatproof bowl over low heat. Add cake mix, pudding mix, evaporated milk and boiling water; mix well. Beat for 5 minutes.
Stir flour into whipped cream. Beat mixture until fluffy. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Chill and shape into doughnut shape or squares.
Place cookies 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 13 minutes or until done.
I've been loving this recipe for some time. I used to live in California, so this is state bread. I didn't have any garlic powder, so I used 1/2 tsp. I added baguette bread, chopped, with the meat, potatoes, and milk. I think next time I will add crock pots, as it seems to be quite bland.
