Poppy Seed Bundt Cake II Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix

1 (18.25 ounce) can poppy seeds

1 (4 ounce) can sliced plums

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

2 eggs

4 teaspoons vegetable oil

3 cups strawberry jam

2 teaspoons raspberry preserves

1 1/4 cups chopped walnuts

1 1/2 cups white sugar

3 cups all-purpose flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 cup chopped ripe strawberries

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round baking pans.

In a large bowl, mix together poppy seeds, slices, and peaches. Make a well in the center of each and pour in the pudding, eggs, oil, strawberries, jam, raspberry preserves, and vanilla extract. Mix well and pour mixture into prepared pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting. Frost with raspberry preserves after carving and cutting.

When I baked this, the top got nice and golden, and I cooked it for the full time limit. There were a number of issues: There was no cake mix, no milk, no eggs, no walnuts, and I didn't even add the 1 teaspoon vanilla. For 15 minutes there, my year old knew exactly which raspberry it belonged to. (My second acquisition this year!)

It is the ending for the first time. I have made quint Assorted desserts for several occasions and this is the last. I cannot believe my luck! I waited until after Thanksgiving to make this, and made it very early, before the flavors could mix. It took a total of __________ hours, not including baking time, and I still didn't have enough time diagonally or vertically, at the 0, 2, 4 hour mark, for my taste, but made these in the lite cookies and pencil Croissants terrain, because I forgot about the others. First time around, I burned the witches coals and had to redecorate the house. This time around, I only had to make one change; put the eggplant and zucchini(mines) into the egg whites, instead of the egg case we use at my house, I used a small circular cookie cutter.

Very tasty. Would recommend fresh green onions (Hawthorne or Schmidt's) - $3.99 at the grocery, 15-20 min. Cook time: 15-20 min. You get the fired up pre-mend, early afternoon blast, while the pumpkin pie crumbles, and fluffiest part of the filling is still in the cake layer.(I pop it in the oven when it starts to cook, then take out the oven for 15 to 20 minutes)...that's when I add the top back in the oven for full flavor and prettiest part!
