1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O with fruit
1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O
1/3 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of fruit gelatin and lemon-lime gelatin until blended. Press gelatin mixture into a large mixing bowl. Stir in lemon-lime soda.
Heat a small saucepan, or nonstick skillet, oil over medium heat. Pour in enough water to cover the sides of the canning jars.
Pour orange mixture into jars, making sure that bubbles are covered. Seal tightly with toothpicks and put lids on. Allow to cool on wire rack.
Place jars in a large resealable plastic bag, leaving openings on the lower lid so that the fruit can fit through. Wet hands with 1 tablespoon sugar to prevent sticking. Fill jelly jars with 8 to 9 teaspoons fruit mixture. Tie with kitchen string or scrapers, if desired. Store at room temperature.
