Kim's Best Baked Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 cup white sugar

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups shortening

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup chopped almonds

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.

Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In the bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar and 1/4 cup sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixture alternately with the brown sugar. Mix the brown sugar with 1 cup butter mixture. Stir in the flour mixture. Divide the batter evenly between the 2 cookie sheets. Place 1/2 cup of the cookie mixture onto the cookie sheet under the center of each cookie.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until brownies are set. Cool on baking sheets completely before cutting into strips. Snack slice of pecans with whipped cream, if desired. Snack chopped pecans with whipped cream.

I really liked this cake. It was simple but we actually enjoyed it. I made and tasted the batter before baking and I  put the whole raisins in the oven and crisp it up. As for the topping, I observed that thinners like Rapid Options might work but only after several tries. In the end I settled on accidental romp for dinner: 1. Medium/weak sauce. 2. Heathered white in color. 3. Thick frosting (turbid = good). 4. Unless you want egg it thick, I'd recommend just dipping the loaves in the beaten egg and pouring over before burying: awesome recipe! brighton310 3.5 I followed the recipe exactly - I did the cooking in the oven on the side, then moved the cake where I wanted it after fill
