1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
2 cups raisins
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons lemon juice
5 cups milk
2 tablespoons lemon zest, drained
Melt 1 cup raisins in a medium bowl. Beat butter and sugar in a small bowl until smooth. Stir in salt and baking powder. Reduce the milk and lemon zest to about a tablespoon a piece. Pour melted raisins over the whole pie crust.
it was ok. didnt love it but group finished in the middle
