1/2 cup baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mace
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the liqueur, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract and mace. Mix in the olive oil, orange juice, almond extract and blueberries. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour or until bubbly and golden brown.
Chop Artichoke hearts in the oven, ensuring that they are completely brown. Cool slightly, remove from pan and pour onto bread slices. Drizzle fresh orange marmalade over them. Garnish with fresh orange peel.
