1 pound bread crumbs
1 cup butter or margarine
4 large ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
6 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Melt butter in a medium bowl. Mix in margarine. Thread these bread crumbs into the center of each tomato. Place tomato slices on a piece of waxed paper and sprinkle with cheese, Swiss cheese, Cheddar cheese, mushrooms, onion and Italian seasoning. Continue until the mixture is moistened and rolls out.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned; serve hot.
