Cheese Bread III Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (15 ounce) can cream cheese, sour cream

1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 large steward egg

3 eggs, beaten

2 teaspoons chives

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 ounce) loaf French bread pans.

In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, Swiss cheese, egg, onion, steward egg, chives, basil, oregano, thyme and parsley. Mix well and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix the egg, onion and cream cheese mixture until well blended. Gradually stir in the sausage, scraping the bottom of pan and bottom of the pan to scrape the yolks. Finally, stir in the salt and pepper. Pour bread mixture into bread pans and spread evenly.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the bread comes out clean.
