1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (2 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 pounds beef brisket, cut in half, cooked and sliced
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Italian salt
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
In a large shallow dish, mix mushrooms and hash browns.
Heat oil in an 8x8 inch pan heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Transfer a tablespoon of mushrooms oil to a medium bowl. Place beef on the plate, forming a strip around the hollow center. Brush meat with enough spaghetti sauce to coat.
Fold sausage into the pan, then spoon the mixture over the Mushroom layer. Sprinkle with thyme and cook on medium heat until evenly browned.
Stir in the Italian seasoning, mozzarella cheese, mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning. Spoon mixture over meat. Serve immediately.
