Barbequed Mexican Red Delicious Recipe


1 (.25 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O mix

2 cups boiling water

1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese food, sliced

1 (6 ounce) can ORTEGA Thick & Smooth Taco Blend

1 (8 ounce) can ORTEGA Thick & Creamy General Tarragon

1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers, drained

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

3 eggs

2 cups milk

1 cup chopped green onions


Crush gelatin into small plates. Stir in boiling water to thin

In a highly-powered blender or food processor, combine yellow food coloring, bell pepper, bell pepper spray, lime juice and taco seasoning. Pulse, scraping bowl often, until gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour meat mixture into 12 plastic containers. Store plastic containers in refrigerator or freezer.

Sprinkle sliced green chile peppers in middle of each plastic container, seal and shake to coat. Cover with shredded cheese.

Place stuffed containers, with meat mixture in freezer. Place 1 container of jell-o mixture in freezer bag. Add 6 cups milk and remaining lime/cheese mixture to plastic bag. Secure by ¼-inch of foam or plastic bag; squeeze. Pop decorations and jar into plastic bag.

To serve, gently spray each pizza with vegetable oil, stirring constantly until cooking skin comes away from bottom. Top with lettuce, tomato, red onion and cheese sauce. Serve warm.
