Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, white sugar and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the flour and baking soda. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the corn syrup. Mix in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
