Chocolate Corn Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup white sugar

1 egg

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup milk

1 (12 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup milk chocolate syrup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, egg, flour and baking soda. Stir in the milk, then mix in the flour mixture. Fold in the vanilla and pecans. Spoon batter into prepared muffin liners.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.

While muffins are baking, melt chocolate syrup in a small saucepan. Remove muffins from oven and sprinkle with chocolate syrup.

Remove from oven and let cool completely. Serve warm or cool completely.
