2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 onion, chopped
1 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 1/2 cups cooked white beans
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
6 slices bacon, cooked
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 (10 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Saute onion and water in oil for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Transfer to a small bowl.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, olive oil, salt, salt, beans, oregano, basil, rosemary, basil, marjoram, and bacon. Pour into skillet with cheese mixture. Cook over medium high heat for about 10 minutes, or until bubbly.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add olives and saute for 1 minute. Pour sauce over beans. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
