2 cups white sugar
1 cup vegetable margarine
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup chopped pecans
3 cups fresh strawberries
3 cups pitted peaches, drained
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
1 2/3 cups peach preserves
Combine sugar, margarine, oil and pecans in a large bowl. Beat until smooth.
Spread batter into 9-inch square pan. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of pan comes out clean. Cool completely, cut into small cubes and serve with lemon flavored sour cream, pineapple preserves or fruit preserves.
