Cocoa Cream Pie III Recipe


1 (9 inch) pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

2 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup milk

1/2 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup chopped almonds


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and milk. Beat until smooth. Stir cream cheese mixture into milk mixture. Mix in sugar and cornstarch. Stir in vanilla extract. Fold in eggs and vanilla. Pour mixture into pastry shell.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before cutting into squares.
