1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound pork chops
1 large potato, quartered
1 onion, quartered
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 (7 ounce) can sliced carrots
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 small red onion, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 green bell pepper, quartered
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
In a large bowl, mix the oil, potatoes, onion, salt, carrots, bell pepper, garlic powder and milk. Place chops in a single layer on a medium baking sheet.
Brush the chops with the oil mixture, and pour spice mixture over each chop.
Heat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Brush chops with the milk mixture every 10 minutes.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Serve hot over steaks, or on the side if desired.
