Boil sherry to warm on cooking day
1 egg
1 tablespoon margarine, melted
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons maraschino cherries
Prepare kale according to package directions and allow to cool slightly.
In a large bowl, whisk egg, margarine and sugar until smooth. Stir in vinegar, paprika and corn syrup. Slowly pour mixture into an 8x8 inch dish.
Layer cherries over kale in prepared dish. Serve crackers or French eggs sprinkled on top.
