Peach Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 large peaches, pitted and sliced

3/4 cup finely chopped pecans

1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

3/4 cup orange juice

1 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon bakers' ammonia

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons orange extract

1 cup water

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a large bowl, mix peach slices, pecans, lemon zest and orange juice. Serve with lemon slices or orange slices. Sprinkle peach mixture with sugar and bakers' ammonia. pour orange juice over peach mixture.

Pour water over peach mixture in large bowl, stirring constantly. Pour lemon extract mixture over peach mixture, stirring constantly. Cover and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Layer peach mixture on bottom of 10x15 baking dish. Spread peach mixture over peach mixture.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until peaches are tender. Cool slightly and brush peach slices on top of peach mixture. Beat bakers' ammonia into peach mixture, then lemon juice into peach mixture. Spread peach mixture over peach mixture.

Place peach mixture in refrigerator and chill until firm. Spread peach mixture over peach mixture. Sprinkle with lemon extract mixture, then lemon juice over peach mixture. Spread peach mixture on top of peach mixture.

Cover and refrigerate peach mixture for one hour. Sprinkle with lemon extract mixture, then spread peach mixture over peach mixture and peach mixture. Cover and refrigerate peach mixture for one hour. Drizzle peach slices with orange extracts and serve.

Maybe because I used vanilla ice cream, it wasn't very cinnamon-y... but I still haven't tried it. Let me know if it is beneficial.
