Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies II Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butterscotch topping

1/2 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup rolled oats

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, combine butterscotch topping, white sugar and vanilla. Beat together butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add oats and mix until all ingredients are combined. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until firm. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

I decided to try out some BBQ renditions of fave old favorites. Let me tell you, this is definitely going into our regular rotation. Not a BBQ food expert, but this recipe is definitely going into our cookbook collection. Plan on next time I'll outside the fridge and chance giving it another go when I update this review. Ok, gone.
