1 1/2 tablespoons croutons
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon malt vinegar
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Preheat grill for high heat.
In a small bowl, mix croutons and butter until well blended. Mix flour, brown sugar, lemon zest, sugar, egg, malt vinegar, tomato paste, garlic powder, parsley, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, sage and distilled white vinegar. Mix thoroughly.
Stir butter mixture into the center of the large baking dish. Spread evenly and spread butter top with marinade. Grill 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
