1 cup butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup canned concentrated lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Pour melted butter, mix in flour, followed by 2 teaspoons lemon juice, cornstarch, baking powder, vinegar and sugar. Mix several times to make uniform results.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Reduce heat to low and stir together lemon juice, cornstarch, baking powder, white wine vinegar, white sugar and sage. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered for 3 hours, or until chicken is tender. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for 2 hours more, or until golden.
