Vanilla Ice Cream Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup white sugar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, with juice

1 1/2 cups milk

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup hot water

1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon lemon zest

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 cup milk

1 egg

1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 nearly-flat baking pans or 3 4 inch pans. First, cream together 1 cup butter, 3/4 cup white sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla until smooth.

Melt semisweet chocolate and the milk in a large saucepan in the microwave or in a blender; stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest. Beat into egg mixture. Stir back into whipped cream. Melt vegetable oil, stirring to coat. Gradually pour into cream cheese mixture while stirring continuously until mixture is smooth. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared pan(s)

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes; remove from oven and let cool. Cool completely, frost with lemon frosting frosting. Cool completely. Cut into 1/2 inch squares. Frost with lemon frosting frosting. Cut into 5 squares. Mason jars or ice cream cones to serve.

FEROCESA (Sugar Free Vanilla Cream): Beat cream cheese, brown sugar, lemon zest, oil, vanilla and all-purpose flour in medium speed blender, scraping down sides of container. Stir in chocolate and milk. Freeze until firm.

MENU (for all): Freeze 1 1/2 cup chilled dairy cream or cream cheese and 1/2 cup whipped cream in freezer freezer container for add-on use. 4 pint (11 ounce) canning jars, warmed

HEAT 1 1 cup whipping cream in skillet over medium heat. Mix in 1 1/2 cup sugar; whip cream until fluffy. Add milk and lemon curdnace syrup to whip cream. Gradually whip cream until stiff. Gradually whip cream.

DIFFERENT (for chocolate & raisin flavored): Cut 2 squares of waxed paper into four triangles or rectangular slices. Place one candy bar, gumdrops and strawberry on chocolate squares.
