1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1 ham, slice in half
1 medium head cabbage, shredded
Place vinegar in a small punch bowl; stir until dissolved. Stir in oil; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
To serve, toss cabbage rolls in water until thoroughly coated; drain. Place all rolls in large bowl and cover with vinegar. Bring to a boil over medium-low heat. Boil 30 minutes, stirring all the time. Remove rolls and reserve.
